How the tipping game works

Every match in the Rugby League World Cup 2026 is open for tipping until kick-off. You do not just pick a winner — you predict the full-time score of each game. Enter the points you think the home team will score and the points you think the away team will score, then save your tip. You can change a tip as many times as you like right up until the referee starts the match, at which point that fixture locks automatically.

When the final whistle blows and the result is entered, every tip on that game is graded automatically. Your points are added to your season total and the leaderboard updates within minutes. There is nothing to download, nothing to pay, and no minimum number of games — tip one match or tip the whole tournament.

Scoring rules

Predictya rewards accuracy rather than luck. Three outcomes earn points:

  • 5 points — exact score. You correctly predicted both teams' final scores.
  • 2 points — correct result plus goal difference. You picked the right winner and the right winning margin, but not the exact score.
  • 1 point — correct result only. You picked the right winner (or a draw) but missed the margin.

An incorrect result scores nothing, and a missed tip scores nothing — so consistency across the whole tournament matters as much as a single perfect guess. Because the margin bonus sits between the two extremes, a well-judged 24–12 tip on a game that finishes 26–14 still puts points on the board.

Prizes

Prizes are awarded on the round leaderboards and on the overall tournament leaderboard. Each round, the top tippers receive prize codes redeemable with our partner sites, and the overall Rugby League World Cup leaderboard carries the largest pool of the tournament. Country leaderboards run alongside the global table, so Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Kenya and Paraguay players compete for their own placings as well as the worldwide ranking. Prizes are issued to the email address on your Predictya account, and every code also appears in your profile page after it is awarded.

PNG Kumuls fixtures

Papua New Guinea is the only country where rugby league is the national sport, and the Kumuls carry the hopes of the whole nation into this tournament. Every Kumuls match is tippable on Predictya alongside the rest of the World Cup draw.
